PAYMENT TERMS

For each subscription you order on the Steamy Lit website, you agree to pay the price applicable for the product as of the time you submitted your order (“Product Price”), the delivery fees for the delivery service you select (“Delivery Fees”), and any applicable taxes. If you order a subscription to a product (with a monthly term, or a term of 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months) that auto-renews (“Subscription”), then you agree to pay the applicable product price, delivery fees, and taxes upon each auto-renewal date until you terminate your subscription in accordance with the directions on the website. Your next billing date will be displayed on your Account page for each of your active subscriptions (“Renews on” date). 

Our subscription boxes ship on a quarterly/seasonal basis. While delays may occur, we like to begin shipping Steam Boxes:

January - March (Winter Boxes)

April - June (Spring Boxes)

July - September (Summer Boxes)

October - December (Fall Boxes)

We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, if your payment method has not been successfully settled, there are unforeseen delays that hinder our ability to ship your product, or there are changes to your account or subscriptions. Please also note that if your subscription includes a discounted product price for a promotional period, once the promotional period expires, your subscription will renew at the full product price. As such, if you purchase a subscription, until such time as you terminate your subscription in accordance with the directions on this site, you hereby authorize, agree, and assent to the Company automatically billing your credit card submitted as part of the order process for such amounts that are due. 

You will be solely responsible for payment of all taxes (other than taxes based on the Company’s income), fees, duties, and other governmental charges, and any related penalties and interest, arising from the product purchase (“Taxes”) not withheld by Company, including, without limitation, all product purchased pursuant to any updated subscription.

Discount codes will not be applied after an order has been placed.


PREORDER POLICY

When making purchases with preorders items we ask that you purchase those separately - as all items purchased with preorders will be held and shipped at the same time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.


STORE EVENT POLICY

If you purchase a ticket for one of our Store Events that includes a book and you are unable to attend the event, you can still receive your book two different ways. Picking it up in store or having it shipped to you (shipping costs will apply) within 14 business days from the event. 

If you do not pick up your book or request it to be shipped to you within the 14 business days your book will be restocked and not refunded. 


CANCELLATION POLICY

Subscriptions of any length (1-, 3-, 6-, or 12-month terms) automatically renew at the completion of the term. You may, however, choose not to renew your subscription for an additional term at any time. To cancel, visit the Account tab on the website or email us the name and email address of the account. Please note, once your subscription renews refunds will not be issued. 

We do not accept returns or offer refunds once your order has been placed. Once an order is placed cancellations and/or refunds will not be issued.


SHIPPING TERMS

We offer flat-rate shipping for domestic and international orders, depending on weight. Please note that the customer will be responsible for custom duty fees and/or tax. We cannot replace lost international shipments.

We fulfill our orders in batches when we create the label for your order. This does not mean your order is ready to be shipped. Please allow up to a week from when your label has been created for any updates with your tracking number before emailing us. Once your package has been dropped off at our shipping carrier, we have no control over if/when your package gets scanned in.

Once your label has been created and you are in need of an address change, we kindly request that you email us at hello@steamylit.com within 24 hours of the email being sent to you with your order number and updated address. If you do not get your request submitted to us within that time frame, your package will be sent to the address listed on your order. If your order is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, you are responsible for paying the shipping fees to reship the package. If you choose not to pay the shipping fee to reship your package, you will not be refunded for your order.

Order Fulfillment Timeline

We currently operate within a 3-week order processing timeline unless otherwise noted due to pre-order timelines. If your order has not been fulfilled after the 3-week timeline, please check out our socials first for any updates. If we have not posted an update, please email us at hello@steamylit.com for more support.

Missing/Lost Orders

If your package was marked delivered, but you have not received it, we kindly ask that you please wait at least 72 hours before reaching out to us for support. Shipping carriers oftentimes will mark packages delivered, but they will not show up until the next business day.

If your package has not been delivered, please contact hello@steamylit.com with your order number for more support. We kindly request that you reach out to us within 30 days of your order being delivered for support. We will not be able to provide you with any resolution beyond those 30 days.

Damaged Books

If your book arrives damaged, we will do our best to replace it for you. If we are unable to replace your book, we will provide you with a partial refund as a resolution.

Damaged books are reviewed on a case by case basis.

Damaged Book Policy 

What we do classify as damaged - 

  • Marks, scratches or anything else that can’t be removed on the front/back cover and the spine 

  • Missing or clear damage to the pages that would impact the text within the book

  • Large visible rips/tears to the book, cover, or dust jacket

  • Anything that would deem the book unreadable

What we do not classify as damaged - 

  • Small creasing/dents/bends to the top or bottom of the book, cover, dust jacket, and along the edges

  • Any small scratches, marks or residue/stains on the book/pages

  • Minimal creasing/dents on the top, bottom, or sides of the book/spine/corners 

  • Small rips/tears to the dust jacket

  • Small damage to the pages that do not impact the readability 

Damaged Merch Policy 

Our store features a ton of products that are not manufactured by us, including vibrators. Please note if your vibe has a malfunction, you will need to reach out to the manufacturer. Steamy Lit is not responsible for replacing it.
